02
Scope
This policy applies specifically to the Fips Vorschulwelt app for iPhone and iPad. The app requires iOS or iPadOS 17 or later and is available in German.
03
No collection of children’s personal data
Fips Vorschulwelt has no user accounts, advertising, tracking, analytics, personal child profiles, or user-generated content. The app does not ask children to submit names, photographs, voice recordings, location data, contact details, or other personal information.
04
Local app data
Game progress, completed activities, preferences, and audio settings are stored only on the device. This information is not transmitted to Blank Margin and is not synchronized through the cloud.
05
In-app purchase
Three games are available free of charge. Seven additional games can be unlocked through an optional, one-time non-consumable Premium purchase. There is no subscription, and Family Sharing is enabled for the purchase.
Purchasing and restoration are handled through Apple StoreKit. Apple processes Apple ID, payment, and transaction information under Apple’s own privacy terms. Blank Margin does not receive complete payment details or complete Apple ID information. The app receives only the StoreKit entitlement status required to unlock or restore Premium content.
06
Network and third-party services
The app does not connect to advertising, analytics, tracking, Google text-to-speech, or generative-AI services at runtime. Speech, music, and game assets are bundled locally with the app. The games do not require a continuous internet connection; access to Apple services may be required to purchase or restore Premium content.
07
Support communication
Contacting support by email is voluntary. We process the information included in a support request only to answer and resolve that request. Parents should not send personal data, photographs, recordings, or other identifying information about a child.
Support correspondence is deleted when it is no longer needed, unless statutory retention obligations require us to keep it for longer.
08
Legal basis
We process support communication as necessary to respond to the request. Where the request concerns a purchase or contractual support, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. In other cases, processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and our legitimate interest in resolving technical problems and responding appropriately to enquiries.
09
Recipients and international transfers
The app itself does not transmit data to Blank Margin or to analytics, advertising, or tracking providers. Apple independently processes purchase and restoration information under its own terms.
If you contact support, our email provider processes the message on our behalf. When you visit these web pages, our website host processes technically necessary connection data. The general Blank Margin Privacy Policy describes the separate website and email processing, including the providers used and relevant international transfers.
10
Storage and deletion
Local progress and settings can be removed by deleting the app. Deleting the app does not remove a purchase from the Apple account. Purchase history and entitlement information held by Apple are governed by Apple’s services and cannot be deleted by Blank Margin.
11
Your rights
Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and data portability where applicable. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests where applicable and lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection supervisory authority.
12
Privacy contact
For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, email support@madebyblankmargin.com.
13
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy before releasing a version of the app whose data practices materially differ from those described here.
